The creator and host of the Dear Lyric Podcast, Victoria Gwynne, adopted Lyric in Nashville, Tennessee U.S.A. The charity organization that had him up for adoption had rescued him several years earlier from a kill shelter in Memphis. A shelter with a long reputation of killing all animals within 48 hours of receiving them. Unfortunately, Lyric being an older dog was with the rescue for a few years before Victoria adopted him. She gave him the name Lyric, and they travelled all over the world together.

Lyric had been to Paris, London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, Prague, Edinburgh and many other cities around Europe. He was a great traveler. He lived with Victoria in Leipzig, Germany for many years until they moved to England.

It's our best guess that Lyric lived until he was 19 years old.
